Estevao: Compatriots Joao Pedro, Andrey Santos have helped me settle at Chelsea

Willian joined the Blues from Palmeiras following the 2024 Club World Cup in a deal reportedly worth up to 51.4 million GBP, and he has already justified the investment.

His impact was emphatically demonstrated last weekend when he scored a last-minute winner against Liverpool, instantly endearing himself to Chelsea supporters. Many pundits now hail him as the most exciting Brazilian prospect since Neymar.

On the international stage, Willian has caught the eye of Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti, who has publicly expressed his admiration for the teenager's talent.

His rapid adaptation to English football and ability to influence high-stakes matches has strengthened his case for becoming a regular starter at Chelsea.

Off the pitch, Willian has praised Pedro and Santos for their footballing ability, highlighting the camaraderie among the young Brazilian stars in the squad.

"Andrey and Joao are spectacular; they're not here for nothing," he told Globo.

"Of course, I've been getting closer to them since the beginning. When you arrive, you don't know what things are like, but you learn.

"The training intensity is higher here, and that reflects in the game. I'm managing to keep up with the pace."
