The Mother City outfit were in a goalscoring mood on Sunday as they bagged four goals in the first half of the game, before the visitors pulled one back on the stroke of half-time.

After the interval the league leaders scored four more, while Sekhukhune netted twice, as CTC retained a three-point lead at the top of the table.

Maritzburg United 0-2 Orlando Pirates

Pirates kept the pressure on Cape Town with a hard-fought win at Maritzburg which saw the visitors stay within three points of the leaders.

Mpumelelo Ndaba opened the scoring for the Buccaneers with a deft finish from close range, and the result was secured as he completed his brace to end Maritzburg's four-game unbeaten run.

Golden Arrows 0-2 Kaizer Chiefs

Amakhosi moved up to fourth in the standings with a strong display at Arrows on Sunday.

Mfundo Vilakazi broke the deadlock at the end of the first half, and Neo Bohloko secured the three points with a second goal at the death.
