DR Congo don't fear Zambian attack at AFCON, says Chancel Mbemba

Democratic Republic of Congo captain Chancel Mbemba insists his side are "not afraid of the Zambian attack" at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The two sides do duty at Stade de San Pedro on Wednesday evening in their opening Africa Cup of Nations Group F clash.

Making up their group stage contingent are tournament hopefuls Morocco and Tanzania.

Chipolopolo have a formidable attack featuring the likes of Lameck Banda, Patson Daka, Kennedy Musonda and Fashion Sakala.

But speaking a press briefing ahead of the eagerly anticipated tie, the Olympic Marseille defender said his side are more than capable of a result.

He said on ZamFoot: "We are not afraid of the Zambian attack."We'll wait for tomorrow to show what we're capable of."
