Bafana coach Hugo Broos names AFCON preliminary squad

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced his preliminary squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The continental showpiece will take place in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

Bafana are placed in Group B with Angola, Egypt and Zimbabwe.

The national team will play their opening game against the Black Sable Antelopes on 22 December.

Broos’ squad is a mixture of experienced as well as young players.
