17-year-old racing star Jarrod Waberski, who has just earned his Protea Colours in February 2023, is the first South African to gain entry into the exclusive British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) Rising Star Programme.
The BRCD are the owners of the world-renowned Silverstone Circuit with Sir Lewis Hamilton and George Russell currently driving for Mercedes-AMG F1 Team.
This year Jarrod will be competing in the GB3 Championship, the premier single-seater series in the United Kingdom.
The series is massively competitive with other drivers from F1 academies and F4 champions competing for honours.
Jarrod shines with a championship track record in Karting between 2013 to 2019 and is a national Formula 1600 podium finisher in 2020-2021
