DSAC commits funding for SA chess athletes ahead of 2026 Commonwealth Chess Championships

Deputy Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Peace Mabe has confirmed that the department will fund South African chess players who have qualified for the 2026 Commonwealth Chess Championships in Sri Lanka next month.
