On Friday, the tennising world watched on as all the Wimbledon draws were announced, which included a number of eye-catching openers.
Perhaps the most tantalising of them all was former British No 1 Draper being handed a tough test against 2025 Wimbledon semi-finalist Taylor Fritz.
The 24-year-old would have liked an easier contest to start off with but equally, the sixth-seeded American may not be relishing this encounter, either.
Jannik Sinner's projected route could feature a string of high-profile hurdles, with a potential quarter-final against Daniil Medvedev or Tommy Paul before a blockbuster semi-final clash with Novak Djokovic or Felix Auger-Aliassime.
The top seed opens against Miomir Kecmanovic and is projected to meet Nuno Borges in round two.
Novak Djokovic's path is equally demanding, beginning with Yibing Wu before a potential early statement match against Stefanos Tsitsipas in round two.
The seventh seed could then face Arthur Rinderknech in the third round, followed by a fourth-round clash with either Andrey Rublev or rising star Joao Fonseca. In the latter stages, Djokovic may meet Felix Auger-Aliassime or Learner Tien in the quarter-finals, with a projected semi-final against Jannik Sinner or Daniil Medvedev.
Elsewhere, three-time major winner Stan Wawrinka will lock horns with 2021 Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini, while 2017 runner-up Marin Cilic will come up against eighth seed Daniil Medvedev.
