Hailing from rural KZN, Lindokuhle Khuzwayo is scheduled to fight for the IBO All-Africa Featherweight Title against Sabelo Ndwandwe at the Galleria in Sandton. The fight card also includes prospects and veterans alike, and will stage the return of boxers like Kaine Fourie, Gary van Staden, Luke Hendrikz and a few others.
The intended Main Event was cancelled because SD Pypers sustained an orbital blowout fracture during a sparring session. Severe trauma to an already compromised eye risks dangerous consequences, and so Pypers was left with no other choice. Jarred Silverman, on the other hand, accussed his rival of being unprofessional and running away from the fight. Either way, SA boxing fans may feast in the ongoing war of words between the two before the score is finally settled later this year.
While Pypers refrains from further intense training and sparring for a period of approximately eight weeks, Silvermann will continue to work at his craft after back-to-back wins in 2026. Both fighters have highlighted each other’s past mistakes and demons, and when they came face-to-face in May, the organic distaste towards one another was as clear as day and their verbal exchange enhanced the boxing public’s excitement for this fight.
Instead in the absence of one of the most anticipated fights of the year, one of the finest up and coming operators in Lindokuhle Khuzwayo will look to steal the show, as will Sabelo Ndwandwe, Kaine Fourie and Gary van Staden come the 25th of July at ‘Knockout Chaos 2’.
