Zuma happy with Amazulu Progress

Dumisani Zuma is enjoying a new lease on life at Usuthu, after a troubled spell at Kaizer Chiefs.

Zuma joined Amazulu in June last year. He has featured in eight matches so far this season and started this past weekend against Sekhukhune United.

"I joined Amazulu last year and they gave me a warm welcome. I enjoy playing for this team. I didn't get the start that I was hoping for in the beginning of the season but I'm happy with my progress. I can also see that my performance is improving, after a couple of games I can see that I am back on form.

It has been hard but the support that I have been getting from the management and even the previous coach and our current coach has been very helpful. I can also see now with the way that I am performing that it's not just about talent but hard work as well. So, I'm really trying to put in more work," Zuma said.

Folz has started Zuma in the last two league matches. And says the only missing thing from him is to improve his numbers.

"He's got a very good eye and he's been pushing very hard especially for the past 6 weeks. From a physical standpoint, he looks better. He understands very well tactically what I expect from him. I'll be happy with him when he's a little bit more decisive in front of the goal and coming into the final third.

Every training session, the progress that he's making is becoming more visible. But as I said to him after the game and I say that to most offensive players, you judge on your results. On your performances, whether you score or create assists. At the end of the day people are going to remember you for that," Usuthu coach explained.
